Third Springsteen concert was the best!
The concert started almost an hour late but it was worth the wait. The band does seem to be feeling their age a little as other key, long-term, band members seemed to be a little worn from the long tour. The Fray was totally energized and he energized the audience as well. He's amazing for someone who turned 60 this year. Playing through the Born to Run album was spectacular. His energy level is incredible and is the best rock showman I've seen - and I've seen a lot. I would have liked to have heard Born in the U.S.A. though. A truly spectacular show with no need for a lot of special effects. Somehow, over the years, it seems all these people coming to the show have gotten a lot older. Odd in that I'm still the same:) This was my third time to see the Boss (all with the E-Street Band) and it was the best yet. One highlight that I wasn't expecting was the playing of Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Disappointing that the show wasn't sold out, but I guess that is a sign of the times. The Big Man can still belt out the ho, ho, ho's like a pro. I've never seen so many ladies asked to perform on stage and he even let one young lady sing for an extended period of time using Bruce's mike. He even made light of his Michigan/Ohio mistake last week by saying "Hello O . . . Nashville!"
